I have seen where bicycles are the preferred mode of transportation.  There are many benefits from this.  If you want exercise, this is a great way to do this.  I have also seen where bicycles are used for transportation to work or just play.  carrying things with you is a challenge.  Some may use a backpack.  Here is another idea.  This single motorcycle saddlebag.  Take a look.
