This time of year the weather is unpredictable. The sky is clear one moment and then you can have a downpour. If you are out riding this could be a problem for you. If you are stopped and cant find cover. You can keep a rag in your motorcycle tool bag to wipe the seat and hand grips down before you begin your ride or you can keep a scooter cover with you to keep your bike dry. That way you can ride safe.
When you accessorize your bike you are want to make it your bike. I like to look at other bikes to get ideas, to see what works and what doesn’t. Certain things on your bike can either enhance the look of a bike or take away the focus . Sometimes it just depends what your needs are, or how you ride. There are several ways you can do that. For instance, use motorcycle saddlebags or even motorcycle tool bags. Mix or match, create your own look.
You love to ride your dirt bike everywhere you go. To the grocery store to get a few things. To the beach for the day just to relax and maybe read a book or even to the park. You probably even ride to see your friends. Wherever you go you always want to have your motorcycle saddlebags or even a barrel bag with you so you can be prepared to carry whatever you may find. Having fun riding is the key.
It is just about that time. Are we ready? In a couple of weeks it will be time to go to Myrtle Beach. Do we have our motorcycle luggage ready for the bike? Do we know what we want to take? Do you know if you are camping out? You probably don’t know if you can get a room. Can you get time off and how much. Most of these questions are mostly questions right now . I say it is time to start to get ready and try to answer your questions.
There is so much to see. I can’t think of a better way to see things than riding on a bike. With what you need in your motorcycle saddlebags. You can just take off, with no real plan and just decide every day which way you want to go. Let the weather decide for you on some days and your mood the rest. Meet new people, make new friends, now you have somewhere else to go. Each day being an adventure.
Open road means so many different things to so many different people. The images people see reflect what their lifestyles are. A truck driver thinks of driving his big rig. A salesman thinks of going to different homes or businesses. A businessman thinks of being out of his office. A family may think of a vacation. Those who ride think of riding, through the woods, mountains or on the roads our nation has to offer. No matter what comes to mind you should have your bags ready. Be it your motorcycle luggage, your barrel bags or just an overnight bag. So when your think about it you are ready to go.
Whenever you go on a trip you usually like to make sure you have most of everything you need so you don’t have to stop at least until you run out or forget. If you take a particular vitamin or drink a certain type of coffee, or eat particular snacks. These are certain items I like to have with me. Especially if it something you just can’t get from the local supermarket or drug store. Pack your motorcycle saddlebags with your favorites and have fun.
Can you just imagine? Riding down a road with the wind in your face. The wind going past you filling the fringes on your seat and motorcycle saddlebags with life as though they were dancing following your lead. Feeling the smoothness of your ride under you. The power and balance as you take the curves one at a time. Moving through traffic as you were following a ribbon. Being aware of everything around you. Yet feeling relaxed. A small part of the bigger picture.
Do you remember the name? The look? Of course you do. Indian, BMW, Honda, Harley. These are all the names that started the term open road. It began the thought of traveling out and on your own or in a group of friends. Getting out and having fun. Sometimes getting into trouble. Most of all, finding yourself and being you, no matter what the situation is, Today it is the same, most who ride, pack their motorcycle luggage and take off. That is life. Get out and have fun.
Do you like leather on your bike? Most people do and it’s not only in what you wear. If you own a cruiser you probably already have the hard saddlebags or even a hard touring pack. So why not add this beautiful leather windshield bag. It has three roomy pockets with studs to accent each pocket. Can be installed easily with one screw and with turn knobs on each pocket, everything is kept secure while you are riding. What a nice addition to your bike.
