There have been times when no matter how many clothes you have on, you still have a chill.  I have found that a rain suit is a great wind breaker as well as a good barrier for the chill.  This rain suit folds up so small you can keep  it in your motorcycle saddlebag or in your  Sissy Bar bag without taking that much room and you have it with you all the time.  It also has bright colors on the jacket, so you are seen when you have it on.
