With the holidays over it is time to think of what comes next.  In most parts of the country it is still cold and there maybe some ice and snow on the ground.  So what do you do?  Make plans for he next few months.  Start small, prepare for short rides when the weather permits. This has been a crazy summer.  It seems there has not been enough hours in the day to accomplish anything.  One thing for sure is that I have been ready just in case.  I have kept my scooter bag packed and ready to go just in case something came up.  If an emergency comes up and I need to take an overnight trip or to take off for the weekend I am ready. I enjoy going through the woods on my atv and just ride.  It is so peaceful and quiet. The weather was getting warm and I thought it was time to get my summer clothes out.  I started to put away all the winter clothes and decided that maybe I should leave a few things out just in case the weather got cold.  I took my scooter bag and packed a heavy sweater, my long underwear shirt and a couple of heavy long sleeve shirts.  The rest I put away for next winter.   I then put the bag in the closet.  Now if the weather gets cold I can stay warm.
