What A Beauiful Day
What a beautiful day. The sun is out it is warm and you are trying what to decide what to do. You look at your to do list and there are about a dozen things that you have written down that have to be done. You know what? Tomorrow is another day. Nothing is pressing and you have just come up with a better idea . Get the sissy bar bag out, pack it with your change of clothes and a few snacks and water, gas up the bike and go.
Take The Cover Off
It is time. Take the scooter cover off the bike. It is time to dust things off. You need to clear the cobwebs off the bike, and out of your mind. It is time to clear everything off, to get out, breath the fresh air. Let the wind blow on your face, feel the sunshine and the warmth. Empty your mind of all the pressure, feel the calmness of just the ride. Let the energy of the road and ride fill you with the alertness of what is around you .
Me Time
Having a birthday a few days ago, makes me think that things need to change in my life. It seems that the year passes faster as you get older. Your priorities don’t change, there are always things that need to be done. You just need to be smarter at accomplishing them at a shorter time frame. The biggest thing I found out that was important was me. Taking me time will help in all aspects of my life. One of the things I am going to get in is riding time, Keeping my motorcycle saddlebags handy and ready will help.
Getting Ready
With the holidays over it is time to think of what comes next. In most parts of the country it is still cold and there maybe some ice and snow on the ground. So what do you do? Make plans for he next few months. Start small, prepare for short rides when the weather permits. This will help to keep your spirits up. Pack your scooter bag with your warm and wet weather gear so you are ready for changeable weather. Make sure everything is ready on your ride. So when it is time you are ready to go.

I know a lot of my friends have a tradition of riding on this day. Most get together with a few friends and take a traditional ride to the same place every year. Others just take off and go with the flow. Whatever you do, you need to have the right gear for the circumstances that arise. If you ride a sport bike you can use this sissy bar bag as a backpack.
